Apart from having the distinction of being the very last varietal listing in the incredibly Wine Grapes (Robinson/Harding), this is a grape you don’t see much out of Austria. But when you do - it’s often Niagara.
Aged a few years, this last effort from Lailey had great garrigue and spice on the nose, with dark red fruits.
Savoury palate with medium tannins, nicely softened with fruit still very much evident. A really fine showing.
