An intriguing wine, pale in colour but deceptively fuller-bodied.
Nose is light with unripe cherry, cranberry and an overwhelming herbaceousness. Savoury notes on the palate, with deceptive tannins giving more weight than you’d expect. Finishes long and savoury, with more depth as you continue.
Made from 80% Nerello Mascalese and 20% Nerello Cappuccio. Tasted March 2018.
