Feb/10
Deep, dense and beautifully red, this artful blend of grenache and carignan is richly scented with black fruits and coffee. Tangy on the palate, these black cherries, berries and darker flavors linger moderately with hints of anise more touches of coffee and tobacco. The 14% alcohol content is expertly balanced by acidity and flavor and is neither breathy nor bouquet-evident.

this particular vintage is at the upper limit of the vintner’s suggested drinkable lifespan. If you find any more of it enjoy right away. Don’t cellar.
An amazingly smooth ripe fruity medium bodied wine.
Juicy
Slender
This would have mass appeal.
Definitely not a big wine, but certainly to be enjoyed when a more delicate flavour is desired
Moderate value for the money, at $17,95 I understand is a great pricing for a Piorat, but, I personally want more punch for the dollars - just a personal thing
It's my first Piorat, and not my last
