An aged Merlot. Pie Franco or feet in white sand. from La Stella..."Ungrafted vines in their own feet, a rare expression of Merlot".

Dark garnet colour. Med+ intensity nose of black fruit, red fruit, dried fruit, prune and wood. Better. Estimated to be just past apogee. A black Merlot. Dark garnet colour. Pronounced nose of black cherry, black fruit, molasses, dried fruit, and oak. Dry, med-med+ acid, med(-) tannins, full body, 14.9% abv. Pronounced flavours add additional notes of black plum, cedar, graphite and tobacco. Long finish. Drink soon if you like fruit. tasted July 2025
