An absolute steal at these prices, this wine manages to punch quite a bit higher than it’s price indicates. What it lacks in purity of origin, it highly makes up for in complexity and power to please the most discerning crowds. If you have any inclination towards the richer Pinot Noir you won’t go wrong with it.
Versatile. Was excellent with Roast turkey and nicely complemented a serving of fennel-honey-mustard seeds-crusted grilled Atlantic salmon.
On a scale of 5, a 4 for performance and a bonus 1/2 star for value.
Strong fruity aroma. Bright and juicy cherry and strawberry. Not a dry wine. Peppery woody finish. Does not taste like Pinot Noir.
