This is a quite fine Chianti with a delicate, nicely ripe, finely tuned aroma of sour cherry, fresh herbs, fine oak...

It's only wine but I like it

100% Sangiovese, 2/3 aged in stainless steel tanks, 1/3 in concrete - sees no wood at all. Lovely red cherry fruit dominates, along with the tartness and acidity that one comes to expect fro Chianti. Tannin is well measured the flavours are complex and long finishing. But the purity of the fruit really shines here. What a fine CC this is! Drinking now, but should hold for a few more years. Tasted July 2020.
