Another classic mature German riesling selling for a song. These gems just keep turning up, so I guess they aren't...

mineral base with numerous sweet white fruit taste and long finish. Fantastic with green curry.

Great wine for the price. Honey, melon, minty evergreen on the nose with great apricot, honey, brown sugar and mint on the palate. Great acidity to balance the sweetness. Very long finish.

A minerally, petrol and floral nose with notes of ginger, apricot, apple and honey. Similar notes on the palate with a creamy, honeyed but not unctuous mouthfeel due to well balanced acidity. Comes off more like a Spatlese than a Kabinett. Excellent wine and a steal at under $20. August 2014.

The 2006 Reichsgraf Von Kesselstatt Kaseler Nies'chen Riesling Kabinett made in a winery that has existed for over 650 years, has alluring aromas of gooseberry, tangerine, honeydew melon, subtle honey and petrol on the nose and lemon, tangerine, ripe pear and gooseberry on the palate. It is a medium bodied, dry to off-dry, fruity to integrated wine; with refreshing acidity and a medium to long, lightly oily finish. Though it is a food friendly wine to pair with sweet fruits or desert, I would recommend enjoying it on-its-own; drink now - 2024 (cork enclosure). My impression: BEAUTIFUL, 92 pts – highly recommended for its quality and value, stock up. Tasted in Sep/14.

Medium-high intensity aromas with honey, petrol, and peach notes coming from the glass. On the palate, there is lively acidity and flavours of ginger, peach and slate. Mature caramel notes also come through on the long finish. Tasted May/2013.
